Dear Runabout Sponsors-

 

With a great deal of consideration and sensitivities, the executive board, committee, and members of Femmes Natales have come to the decision to cancel the 2020 Runabout. 

 

For 40 years the Runabout has provided for residents of Thibodaux who are in the most need. The ladies of Femmes Natales have rallied around individuals and families to fundraise and bring awareness of and reprieve to the illnesses, hardships, and sufferings of our neighbors. This could never have been accomplished without the generosity you, our sponsors, have consistently and selflessly provided. 

 

Sadly, during a year when so many in our community need the open hearts of their community, we will be unable to give them the Femmes Natales Runabout. With regulations at the state and local levels, as well as extreme caution for our potential recipients, sponsors, and participants, the ladies of Femmes Natales feel this is the right decision. 

 

We sincerely thank everyone - sponsors, participants, and recipients - for all they have done for us in the last 40 years. 

 

Lastly, we whole-heartedly look forward to serving our Thibodaux community by hosting another Runabout in 2021.
